Antique lace day cap from the Victorian era. This piece is unlike any I have seen; The embroidered net looks to be handmade, and the motif on either side is a swan. There is a drawstring to adjust fit in the back, and the front has the decorative side flaps.

The piece is most excellent condition with no flaws; color is pure white; content is cotton.
