This piece is from the last collection from an incredible Argentinian seamstress who dedicated her life to creating unique pieces using antique fabrics , some present, but all adorned with antique lace, trims, and appliqués. I was fortunate enough to acquire her final collection, making this a truly special find.

Fabric is a beautiful lightweight cotton with embroideries on front and a stunning Fillet Lace embellishment on the back.

Measurements:

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat (in inches). (1 inch = 2.54 cm)

* Shoulder: 14"

• Armpit to armpit: 17 3/4"

• Waist: 17 1/4"

• Hips / End: 17 1/2"

• Total Length (shoulder to hem): 21 1/2"

For your reference I fit it to my small and Large mannequins, this are the measurements.

The Small is a women’s size 2-4 USA with the following measurements:

• Chest: 33.86”

* Shoulder: 15”

• Waist: 26.7”

• Hips: 24”

The Large has the following measurements:

• Bust: 38.18” (97 cm)

• Waist: 31.10” (79 cm)

• Hips: 40.94” (104 cm)

Condition & Care

• Vintage and antique items have been previously loved, so small imperfections may exist.

• Hand-dyed pieces: Due to the nature of hand-dyeing, colors may not be perfectly even. Please wash these items delicately, preferably alone or with similar colors.

• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.

Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:

• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).

• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.

• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
