Photograph, Edition of 10, 22" x 28"

This was an Andalusian stallion that I photographed in Tuscany, Italy. When I saw this horse and watched him move, I was immediately captivated by his beauty. This was a very difficult image to create, as there was a lot of junk in the background… wires, poles, fences. Once I got the image cleaned up in the “digital darkroom”, I added a textured layer to make it more illustrative and less “literal,” which I felt made the image even stronger, almost giving it a “fairy tale” sort of look.
