An exceptional Victorian silver locket dating from the 1880s. The front is intricately engraved with floral and foliate motifs, as well as applied rose gold border accents. The intricacy is stunning, using virtually every square millimeter of available space. The locket opens to reveal two oval compartments, one of which has been filled with a cherub/putti image.
